Prospective Authors were encouraged to submit either Full Papers or Abstracts.

Accepted Full Papers were published after revision as Final Papers in "ISPRS Annals of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences" Volume: II-3/W4. The fact that the full papers were peer reviewed is mentioend on each paper. The series was newly established in 2012.

Alternatively, authors were able submit an extended Abstract. In case of acceptance by the program committee, these authors were invited to submit a Final Paper which were published in "The International Archives of the Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Spatial Information Sciences" Volume: XL-3/W2.

All accepted papers are published electronically. Each paper is tagged by an individual persistent Digital Object Identifier (DOI). The Archives and the Annals were available as open access papers at the meeting, and on the web. They will be submitted to Thomson Reuters' for inclusion into the Conference Citation Proceedings Index (CPCI), one of the indices of the Web of Science. They are also listed in SCOPUS and Google Scholar. Publishing was handled by Copernicus GmbH.
